Why I built this?

I’ve lived both sides of the story.

I started an accounting company in 2012 and spent the next decade building it into a 45 person cloud firm across Canada. I sold the corporate division in 2022, then sold the personal tax division in 2024.

Then I became a creator.

This past year, I started building my personal brand and I finally felt what creators deal with every day: editing, getting comfortable on camera, learning how to communicate your ideas, and earning real trust with an audience. It’s a lot. And the moment money starts coming in, the same question shows up fast:

What next?
For so many creators and solopreneurs, the answer is taxes, and it becomes the stress you didn’t ask for. taxifi is what I wish existed when you hit that stage: a modern, creator-first tax experience built by someone who understands the tax side deeply and is living the creator side right now.
